Farah Amir is the Executive Director of Georgia Council for International Visitors. She is the daughter of two first generation immigrant parents. Her upbringing inspired her to transition from a successful corporate job into a role that aligned with her passion of promoting global fluency and citizen diplomacy.
The mission of the Georgia Council for International Visitors (GCIV) is to build relationships between the people of Georgia and leaders around the world. Its vision is that every Georgia citizen has the opportunity to be more globally engaged.
GCIV is a member of Global Ties U.S. as the National Council for International Visitors. Global Ties U.S. has the mission is to promote excellence in citizen diplomacy.
